Eno Milkani is born in Tirana, Albania and graduated as a Theatre Director from The Academy of Arts of Tirana. After the University studies he went in Denmark at the “European Film College” in Ebeltoft Denmark. In 1995 he worked as cameraman on his first Documentary ‘Hic Sunt Leones”. His first film as Director will be “Abandoned Eden” a short film, made in a fiction documentary style. This short film was in the Karlovy Vary Film Festival Documentary Official Selection in 2003 and then won Best Short Film in Kyiv Molodist International Film Festival in Ukraine. Short film “Abandoned Eden” travelled into many other film festivals around the world. In 2005 together with Piro Milkani he will be co-Director end Editor of the feature film “The Sorrow of Madame Shnajder” with the participation of Anja Geislerova, Nik Xhelilaj and Mikele Placido. Also, this film went in many film festivals and it was the Albanian selection for the Academy Awards in 2009. In 2009 he was Screenwriter and Director of the short film “She, the Saint” a film that deals with young generation during communism. From 1995 he made more than 30 Documentaries for Tv and Cinema. In 2011 he founded and he is the Artistic Director of the Balkan Film Food Festival, in Pogradec, Albania. Eno Milkani is also a lecturer at the Film and TV Academy “Marubi” a private film school in Tirana. His latest film in process as Producer is the feature film “Open Door” an Albanian, Macedonian, Kosovo, and Italian Coproduction.
